The band was formed in 2005 with the merger of the former Sprowston Brass Band and the Enterprise Band.  The combining of the many years of experience, instruments and music libraries of the two bands has resulted in the creation of a band that is both proud of its history and of its future.  

The former Sprowston Band was created from the former Lads Club Band in Norwich, and there are still a few players with us that were with the Lads Club Band in the 1950s.  The Enterprise Band formed much later, in the 1990s and was based in Hellesdon.
