Hellesdon & Sprowston Brass are based in the city of  Norwich, England and were founded in 2005 following the amalgamation of Enterprise Brass of Hellesdon, and the Sprowston Band. 

Hellesdon & Sprowston Brass continues to be supported through members subscriptions and its own fund raising efforts. Its members are all amateurs and it is a band that is completely financially independent and not reliant upon any sponsorship or commercial interest. As well as bringing enjoyment to many through its concerts and fundraising activities the band also makes time and efforts to support local and national charitable events. Indeed, Hellesdon & Sprowston Brass is a Band which exists for enjoyment of its members and the listener alike.
